How we helped
Trinity provided a range of air quality services for the Queen’s Wharf project from its initial planning stages and advice on constraints associated with the development through to commissioning and testing.
- Trinity prepared the air quality aspects of the Plan of Development, including site-specific criteria against which the development has to comply. The Plan of Development was approved by the state government.
- We created a dispersion model of emissions from the surrounding road network, including the south-east freeway and inner city streets. We used CALPUFF to test future scenarios with and without the development.
- We assessed impacts of the William Street build-over on dispersion of vehicle exhaust emissions and specified requirements for ventilation and monitoring.
- We assessed requirements for compliance of the back-up power generators in two potential locations. This included specialist modelling of air dispersion and heat dispersion using CALPUFF, GRAL and SLAB models.
- We assessed carpark exhaust impacts in complex structures using the GRAL dispersion model.
- We completed stack emission testing of the installed generator emissions for compliance against criteria.
