Scam Alert: Fake Invoices

We are aware of a scam randomly targeting businesses, including those in sectors we service. Scammers are sending fake invoices that appear to be from Trinity Consultants. Please be assured that these scammers are only using publicly available information to impersonate us and have not breached any of our systems. We have reported the scam to relevant authorities and banks.

Please be wary of any suspicious emails and follow these steps to protect your business:

  • Verify the sender’s email address before responding or acting. The scammers are known to pretend to be your manager or colleague forwarding the fake invoice to you for payment. They also pretend to be us by using fake email addresses like ones ending in @trinityconsultantsinc.com. Our legitimate communications will always come from email addresses ending in @trinityconsultants.com.
  • Double-check with trusted sources using contact details you already know or find independently.
  • Report suspicious emails to the Australian Government’s ScamWatch at www.scamwatch.gov.au.
  • If you’ve already made a payment to scammers, contact your bank and local police immediately.

To verify the authenticity of any invoice from Trinity Consultants, please don’t hesitate to contact our office directly.
