Andrew is an air quality expert, with more than 30 years of experience in air quality assessment and related scientific fields.
He has specialist knowledge of dispersion modelling, odour assessment, health risk assessment, pollution control and air monitoring.
Andrew works closely with clients to help them comply with regulations and reduce impacts. He also manages Trinity’s Brisbane team undertaking air, greenhouse, noise and vibration services, ensuring consistently high quality output and efficient processes.
One of Andrew’s most exciting projects was stack testing at the Porgera gold mine and processing plant in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. The environment was breath-taking, the culture a different world and the work fantastic.
Other diverse projects and work include the Willawong waste incinerator health risk assessment, evaluation of accidental SO3 releases from sulphuric acid plant, review of the National Pollutant Inventory manual for explosives, management of spontaneous combustion, expert witness for afterburner compliance, training of mining inspectors from several countries in environmental assessment, and coordination of national electricity grid connection environmental impact assessment.
With a Master of Applied Science and a Master of Science in Environment Management under his belt, Andrew merges scientific rigour with practical field experience. He is also a certified air quality professional (CAQP) and a Fellow of the Clean Ait Society of ANZ.
Andrew is a passionate cyclist in an amateur racing team. He also has a long history in table tennis, culminating in umpiring at the Commonwealth Games.

With more than 25 years’ experience, Gary leads our air monitoring team. Widely recognised for his expertise in emission monitoring and air testing, Gary also delivers regular professional development and training sessions, both to our in-house Trinity team and beyond. Odour and occupational testing are also key specialisations.
Gary loves meeting people and is a terrific conversationalist, who is just as enthusiastic chatting about the latest environmental legislation as he is swapping stories about his favourite hobbies, such as wildlife photography on the savannas of southern Africa.
Combining these skills, Gary has built a long-term client base, becoming a trusted partner of more than 15 years for a number of organisations that leverage both his in-depth professional knowledge and his passion for the natural environment.
Gary has extensive experience in test methods for both the United States Environmental Protection Agency and Australian Standards. He has conducted sampling campaigns for most major global industries including mining, chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transport, food and utilities.
With a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Hons), he works closely with clients to provide regulatory testing programs and customised testing campaigns. Some of Gary’s favourite projects include working at sites in remote outback Australia, where the countryside and wildlife sightings are spectacular.
He’s always on the lookout for opportunities to put his camera to work in the great outdoors, as well as enjoying a spot of birding and sailing in his spare time.
Ralph is a senior scientist in our Gladstone Vision Environment business, specialising in marine ecology, ecotoxicology and community assessment. He is also a qualified rescue and research diver.

Beau celebrated his 20-year anniversary with our team in 2022, having joined right out of university in 2002.
With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Space, he began in a graduate role focused on air and noise, and quickly expanded his skills, working across a variety of services before eventually specialising in noise management.
In the past two decades, Beau has worked on several of our flagship projects, including undertaking extensive noise emissions work for the Brisbane Clem 7 tunnel.
Beau has also been instrumental in growing the Event Noise Management part of our business, which provides a highly specialist service that assists venues and largescale events to meet the conditions they need to acquire licences, comply with environmental noise regulations, and implement live noise management plans.
His expertise has seen him travel up and down the east coast of Australia, advising and attending some of our country’s biggest festivals and events, including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and major music and sports events hosted in arenas including the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Gabba Stadium.
Beau loves the local and friendly workplace feel of Trinity, even as it presents opportunities to work with people from around the world and tap into a global knowledge network that delivers continuous learnings and input from a wealth of different countries and projects.
Outside of work, Beau lives for the great outdoors, making the most of our mild Queensland weather with plenty of rock climbing, hiking and beach volleyball – and then making escapes to the snow whenever he can to indulge his “number one passion”, which he tells us is snowboarding!
